How much does this cost?

$25 per image.

$10 per image, if ordered via our art prints order form. Look for the Upscale checkbox when uploading your files.

$10 per image (introductory price) for all orders until April 30th, 2024.

Does my image get uploaded to an AI Database?

No, the AI software is operated locally on our computers in-house at PGH Print Ship.

What is the turnaround?

1-3 Business Days.

Turnaround will not begin until your artwork is received via the Upscaling Order Form.

Turnaround will not begin until your payment is received. Invoices are sent via QuickBooks.

Is this AI or Artistry?

An artist will use the AI Upscaling software as a tool to upscale your images and it will be up to the discretion of the artist to choose between different AI models and settings to determine which will best represent your original image.

How large can you upscale an image?

32,000 pixels x 32,000 pixels

Print Size of 106.5” x 106.5” at 300 resolution

Print Size of 213.25” x 213.25” at 150 resolution

Can you edit the colors or brightness of my image?

No, please make all of the edits to your file before submitting for upscaling. It will take a lot of computer power to edit files once they are upscaled.

How will I receive my file?

Most files will be returned in the same format as when you upload. Our default format will be JPEG with no compression (best quality) if we need to flatten your file for any reason.

We will email you the file as an attachment to as an email or as a Google Drive link.

How long do you keep my files?

We will keep your files available for 7 calendar days. Be sure to download and backup your upscaled file(s) immediately after receiving them. We will not check to verify receipt of files before deletion.

Do I need to be a customer or print my file at PGH Print Ship?

No.

What if I don’t like how my upscaled image looks?

The upscaling process does not change your image, it will only increase the quality without pixelation. Refer to before and after examples for reference.

If there is something particular you don’t like about your upscaled image, please reply to the order confirmation email you received when you placed your order. We will work with customers on a case-by-case basis. Refunds are not available. If we did something wrong we will always do what we can to make it right (as outlined on our FAQ page). Additional time is billed at $60 per hour.

Is this similar to Photoshop Resampling or Lightroom Enhance tools?
