Apparel Printing

Heat Press

WE RECOMMEND BECOMING A STUDIO MEMBER AT REDFISHBOWL IN LAWRENCEVILLE TO USE THEIR HEAT PRESS IN CONJUNCTION WITH DIRECT-TO-FILM HEAT TRANSFERS.

There are many types of heat transfers. Specifically, the inkjet direct-to-film heat transfers have been the highest quality and most similar to screen printing.

Pro: Smooth and Soft feeling.
Pro: Works on any type of garment, tote bag, or material.
Pro: Full Color with White Ink.
Pro: Transfers can be printed within one business day. You can order rush shipping and get your transfers the following business day. This comes to 2 business days after you order the transfers. That’s extremely quick for apparel printing since most screen printers generally offer 2-6 weeks turnaround.

Con: Price is based on the size, so larger prints can get more expensive. If you have time, your design is larger, and you only have one or two colors in your artwork, screen printing is likely the way to go.
Con: You need to source your own blank items.

WE DO NOT OFFER APPAREL PRINTING.
AS PGH PRINT SHIP HAS BECOME A RESOURCE FOR OUR COMMUNITY, WE WOULD LIKE TO SHARE OUR RECOMMENDATIONS.
